Kathleen and Michael welcome you to Faul House, where you can enjoy the comforts of our family home. Breakfast is served each morning in a spacious dining room, overlooking the sea. A full breakfast menu is available, offering a wide selection of juices, cereals, cheeses, smoked salmon, free range eggs from our farm, home-made brown bread, pancakes, a traditional Irish breakfast and much more.
You can put your feet up and relax in our guest lounge, in front of a roaring peat fire. The peat, which makes our blazing fire possible is, hand - cut on our bog, where during the months of April, May and June, many of our guests join us on the bog where we cut, turn, stack and harvest the turf, before bringing it home. After an exhilarating time at the bog, we sit down with an Irish Coffee, in front of the fire and relax.
Faul House is part of a 40 acre farm, home to goats, ducks, sheep, geese and Connemara Ponies.
Three generations of our family have farmed the land. Our ponies, bred on the farm, are sold all over the world.
Michael, who will serve your breakfast, is more than delighted to have you accompany him down the land, as he tends to his animals. You can even collect your own eggs for breakfast!
